Why Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy incorporates the latest scientific research evidence to enhance your health and well being using food and supplements. The nutrients in food have a powerful effect on the body and when used in the correct way, can enhance your overall health as well as targeting specific conditions.
Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows them to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help to support the body towards maintaining health.
This therapy is effective for a broad range of health conditions and can work in combination with many other therapies or complementary treatments. The combination of Nutritional Therapy and Health Coaching is a particularly powerful teaming offering a therapeutic diet and the motivation to incorporate the changes into your daily lifestyle.

What will your consultation involve?
Nutritional Therapy is very unique to you as an individual, so the nutritional programme proposed, including changes to your diet, lifestyle and/or appropriate supplementation, will be custom tailored to meet your specific needs. Prior to your first consultation, you will be sent a comprehensive questionnaire to fill in, as well as a food diary. This will show us your overall health status and assist us to identify the type of nutritional focus you will require.
The first consultation will be 90 minutes and we will review your medical and family history, present diet, and lifestyle, after which you will be given a programme to implement. In some cases, bio-chemical laboratory tests may be advised. A further consultation, several weeks later, may be beneficial in order to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment. However, interim telephone and e-mail advice and support is available.
Nutritional Therapy is only available as a one-to-one consultation and there is no minimum commitment. If you are not available for a face-to-face meeting, it can be conducted via Skype.
